Player Profile: Tsanzo Dalio, Malawi 2009
Posted on 13/09/2009
Tsanzo represents Malawi in the Homeless World Cup in Milan.
Incredibly clever and with the most beautiful hand writing is the 23 year old player from Malawi. Tsanzo finished high school when he was only 16 years old but couldn't attend to college because of finantial problems. He has already played professionally for teams like Blackpool F.C among others. To Tsanzo this experience allowed him to visit Europe for the first time and to bond with people from all over the world. He claims he is best friends with teams like South Africa, France, Ghana and Chile. He jokes about how he loves Chileans even though they don't undestand each other very well because he doesn't speak spanish.
For Tsanzo it was the first time he ever road a metro and was amazed by how the electricity reached so many neighborhoods. He claims it was weird for him to see people using so many credit cards and tickets because everyone in Malawi uses cash money to pay for transportation, food, etc. Tsanzo is considered one of the nicest players of the Homeless World Cup in Milan and will continue his career as a professional player.
