After holding trials across various venues/cities in Scotland, Street Soccer (Scotland) are pleased to announce the names of the 24 players who have made the final round of trials. The final round of trials will take place on Sunday 30th May at Glasgow Powerleague, Kennedy St, Townhead from 12 - 3pm. All players are required to be there for 11.30am for briefing. This will be the final selection stage for the 2010 Homeless World Cup in Rio, Brazil. After the selections the Scottish Homeless World Cup Staff will select the final 8 players.

A selection of Former Scotland Homeless World Cup Stars 'Lived the dream' by taking part in an Exhibition Match at Celtic Park. Thanks to Homeless World Cup founding partners NIKE, Street Soccer (Scotland) were given the opportunity to arrange a match between Former Homeless World Cup players and a team of Ex and Current Professional Footballers.

Thats it! the first round of trials are now over. The Scottish Homeless World Cup team coaches have decided on 24 finalists who will travel to Glasgow on May 30th in a bid to become a member of the 2010 Homeless World Cup team who board the flight to Brazil. The 24 finalists will be named on Tuesday and Squad list will be available on www.streetsoccerscotland.org and here www.homelessworldcup.org

DAY 3 of the Scottish Homeless World Cup Team Trials Roadshow. After a 400mile round trip beginning with Trials in Oban and Inverness,we arrived in Glasgow Powerleague where over 100 talented football players turned out in a bid to win a place in the final 24 squad for Rio. Tomorrrow we travel to east taking in Dundee, Aberdeen before finishing in Edinburgh on Friday.
