Team Namibia is organised by The Big Issue Namibia beginning the street soccer programme in 2004. It now operates in Windhoek and Ondangwa involving 10 teams and 70 players in drug rehabilitation battling poverty. Every year Team Namibia are a smash hit with the crowd for their pace, skill and passion and love of music. Final Position: Milan 2009 - 35th; Melbourne 2008 - 38th; Copenaghen 2007 - did not partecipate; Cape Town 2006 - 29th; Edinburgh 2005 - 14th; Gothenburg 2004 - 19th
